By accessing this website or purchasing from Holy Tallow (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to be legally bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our website or services.


1. General Use

All products and services offered through this website are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual at any time for any reason permitted by law.


2. Products

All products are handcrafted and made fresh to order in small batches. Minor variations in colour, texture, or appearance are normal and do not constitute a defect.

We do not guarantee that product descriptions, images, or other content are error-free.


3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in CAD unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without notice.

By completing a purchase, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the full order total, including taxes and shipping where applicable.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our sole discretion.


4. Order Processing & Shipping

Orders are typically processed within 1–4 business days, with up to 6 business days during high-volume periods.

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, title and risk of loss pass to the customer.

We are not responsible for:

  • Carrier delays
  • Lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages once marked “delivered”
  • Customs delays or fees (if applicable)

Delivery confirmation provided by the carrier is considered final proof of fulfillment.


5. Shipping Address

Customers are solely responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information at checkout.

We are not responsible for delays, losses, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses.

If a package is returned due to address error, the customer is responsible for additional shipping fees to resend the order.


6. Returns, Refunds & Replacements

All sales are final due to the custom, made-to-order nature of our products.

We do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind, preference, or improper expectations.

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, opened or used products are not eligible for return or exchange.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

Claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery and must include:

  • Order number
  • Clear photographic evidence of the issue
  • Description of the problem

If approved, we will provide a replacement or store credit at our sole discretion.

Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued only where a replacement is not reasonably possible.

Failure to provide adequate evidence may result in claim denial.


7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By completing a purchase, you agree to contact us directly to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback.

Unauthorized chargebacks will be considered a breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to dispute all chargebacks and provide evidence including:

  • Proof of delivery
  • Order details and transaction records
  • Customer communication
  • Acceptance of these Terms at checkout

Filing a chargeback for an order delivered in accordance with these Terms may result in permanent refusal of future service.


8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Holy Tallow is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.

All products are used at the customer’s own risk. Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredients and ensuring suitability prior to use.


9. Third-Party Services

We use third-party providers for payment processing, shipping, and logistics. We are not responsible for errors, delays, or failures caused by these providers.


10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including branding, product descriptions, images, and designs, is the exclusive property of Holy Tallow and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.


11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable provincial and federal law.


12. Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
